My name is Martin Winders and I am Technical Director of Betterprint. I have worked in the print industry for 12 years and seen it evolve and change in many ways. I studied Graphic Design where I achieved accreditation EMFEC credit standard. I worked within the studio environment of Poplar Services Printers Ltd (see ) Betterprint's sister company. I progressively moved my way up the ladder within Poplar Services, always being fully prepared to learn all aspects of the print industry. When I first started one of Poplar's main trades was NCR pads (Carbon paper sets). We would do hundreds of pads for major clients. This market has somewhat diminished over the years and led Poplar into the Litho Full colour and Digital age. Poplar now specialises in full colour, both Lithographic and digital print. I have been Commercial Manager of Poplar Services Printers for 7 years. My role is to look after all the day to day running of the business and ensure production targets are met. It is with this drive, ambition and knowledge of the industry that I feel so strongly for the success of Betterprint.
