At Betterprint, we are always on the lookout for networking opportunities for local businesses. Next month, Business North West 2011 and Simply Networking arrive in Manchester. Both events offer the perfect chance to meet new business contacts and socialise with like-minded people.

The Betterprint team has provided our own networking guide to help you decide if your business should attend. We'll also be offering our insider tips on how to make the best use of your business cards at each event.

Simply Networking - Manchester

When? Thursday 12th May 2011

Where? The Light, 20 Church Street, Manchester

Event Outline: Taking place on the roof terrace of The Light, Simply Networking offers a laid back approach to business events. Networking takes place between 3pm and 5pm and attendees can enjoy an unstructured day that will allow them to make the event their own. The environment is fun and relaxed, but still maintains a strong passion for connecting businesses. Places cost 10 pounds and can be purchased in advance, or on the door.
Book your place here.

If you are unable to attend on this date, Simply Networking is also coming to Leeds, Liverpool and Bolton.

Who Is Going? Simply Networking events attract businesses of all types and sizes. This makes it particularly good for companies that wish to reach a wide range of contacts.

Business Card Value: An interesting part of the event is 'The Connection Board', which is open from the beginning of the day. It allows businesses to attach their business cards to a company they wish to connect with. Before the end of the event, the corresponding cards are handed back so that contact can be made after the event.
